Amazing casse Croute on the way into Forestville.Prices are reasonable. Good poutine options.Lady working was super friendly and patient with my GF while she practiced her French.Portions were huge. Everything fresh and delicious.Lots of outdoor seating, although loud from the highway into town.

If you like seasonal and roadside snacks like me, you will love the Vacationer's Canteen. Snack star obviously, but 5 stars well deserved. We visited the place today (September 14th) both ladies were friendly and cheerful so we got them a good, simple and efficient service. The poutine fries are really delicious and crispy. The hot dog met the hot dog standard well. In the photo, it's the MINI-poutine, to give you an idea of the formats (mini/small/medium/large) and it was well garnished.

Super nice welcome, a very varied menu for this type of establishment.I recommend the club sandwich, there are large pieces of chicken, a good amount of bacon and the house fried portion is excellent for those with a big appetite.
